Swedish pop crooner Jens Lekman's popularity sky-rocketed after his national tour with Darren Hanlon in May 2005. With much anticipation, he returns to Australia for a headline tour in support of his recently released compilation album, Oh You're So Silent Jens (Spunk).
With an angelic voice and a gift for creating timeless pop songs, Jens is widely feted as the next star to rise from the DIY pop underground. Already a sensation in Sweden thanks to his debut full length When I Said I Wanted To Be Your Dog, his performance last year won the hearts of the Australian audiences lucky enough to have seen him. Jens heartfelt collaboration with Melbourne artist New Buffalo, 'Inside The Corrections', was warmly received by Australian radio.
In Sydney and Melbourne, Jens will be playing with a full band made up of Australian musicians, whilst Brisbane and Perth will be treated to an intimate solo show. Also look out for a very special Jens Lekman Australian our EP available soon through Spunk.
